Cobh - Co. Cork

PL - Cobh ( dawna nazwa Queenstown; irl. An Cóbh) - miasto i port w hrabstwie Cork leżące na południowy wschód od miasta Cork. Cobh jest miejscowością letniskową i uzdrowiskową.
W latach 1849-1922 miasto nosiło nazwę Queenstown (nadaną na cześć królowej Wiktorii).
Z Queenstown związany był także statek Titanic, który wypłynął z tutejszego portu po raz pierwszy i ostatni 11 kwietnia 1912 roku.

EN - Cobh (/ˈkoʊv/ kohv, Irish: an Cóbh) known from 1850 until 1920 as Queenstown, is a turist seaport town on the south coast of County Cork, Ireland. Cobh is on the south side of Great Island in Cork Harbour and is home to Ireland's only dedicated cruise terminal. Tourism in the area draws on the maritime and emigration legacy of the town - including its association with the RMS Titanic.
